Ramsey Poplin

Ramsey is number two of the couple of FREEDOM INSURANCE GROUP mascots. He is a three year old Chinese Crested Powder-Puff born Feb. 2, 2007. He started work at FREEDOM INSURANCE in April 2008 when he was adopted by his proud parents, Mike and Dannette (Dee)Poplin. He was rescued from a puppy mill. Ramsey's favorite part of the job is sleeping in the King's bed in Morganton or the window sill when working in Lenoir, taking a walk to explore the parking lot and beyond at lunch, sniffing the burger bags for his treats and meeting new customers who are gentle and understanding of those who have a history of traumatic events and lingering memories. When he returns home from work his favorite hobbies are wandering the neighborhood in search of God's little creatures such as birds and squirrels, performing his little car trick of rolling down the windows by pressing the automatic window button, and fine dining as long as it consists of meat and cheese. Being timid, Ramsey prefers to dine in privacy away from the condemning eyes of his older brother Puffy. He prefers hamburger over chicken quesadillas and also anticipates his weekly surprise toy in his McDonald's happy meal for a week of work well done. Ramsey can be seen more often in the Morganton office but occasionally works in the Lenoir office for a change of scenery since there are woods to explore. Ramsey is quiet and sweet. He loves to join in with family in singing "Jesus Loves The Little Doggies Of The World," but only after Puffy begins and gives him the OK glance. Ramsey is extremely appreciative to the Lord for his family and home so he chooses to specialize in homeowner insurance. Come out and meet Ramsey when you need your next homeowner quote.
