Friends, in light of all the natural disaster we are experiencing, I want to encourage you to be prepared. According to Biblical prophecy, these perilous times are inevitable.
We have been warned through scriptures that these things will become more frequent. We are not to panic, but be prepared. This preparedness isn't just physically, but spiritually so that we can share with others the blessed hope of the return of Christ for His own.
I have prepared a list of small necessities which can easily be packed into a small hand-held bag in the case of your car being stranded in a desolate location. It is lightweight in case you had to leave the car and walk for help. You may modify the list according to your particular need, family size and lifestyle. I am using my bag as an example. All toiletries are small sample or trial size.

You can see through each bag to identify its contents plus the baggies keep everything from damage if something spran a lead. All individual sandwich bags placed in one waterproof handbag takes up less than 12" and weighs less than two pounds!
If you have a baby or children a quart size storage/freezer bag will hold a pamper, binkie, ora-gel, rattle/toy, etc.
You will be prepared to help until rescue arrives if you happen upon an emergency. Consider praying for the victim and leading them to Jesus or if they are already born-again, comforting them with scripture.
If you have to leave your car, the bag will be lightweight and a God –send. Better safe than unprepared but always pray traveling mercies over yourself and family, knowing God gives His angels protection over the heirs of Salvation. Blessings.
